We're Back in Business

Thanks JT Webster for letting everyone know why everything went dark here for a wee while.

I'm back home, having finally been released from the hospital this afternoon. I was admitted quite suddenly on Wednesday with an extremely low platelet count. Turns out I have something called ITP or Indopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura which basically means a blood disorder of low platelets (the blood doesn't clot as it ought) due to an unknown cause.

After a bit of therapy my platelets are still low but no longer at critical levels, and I've been released back into the wide world.

So thanks everyone for your kind words and your patience. I hope to get the second part of my interview with TK online tomorrow, so do check back.

  1. Darn it, I lost the bet.
Couldn't you go back into hospital for another day? It would really help me out.

You can have half the cut, but I have to warn you - there's a teapot, a balloon and one kitten in the pot. And we split down the middle.

Seriously though: Good to hear you're back, platelets and all.
    :-)

  2. I promise it wasn't me that took the bet!

Glad that you're home and slowly getting back to normal (whatever that is!) Perhaps you should ask Chris, he'll know all about 'normal'.

  3. I was back in for an out patient visit today and will be again tomorrow. Do you think that might count as an extra day Chris? Sorry that's the best I can do. ;P

  4. Due to a conspiracy of events the interview has been delayed again and, to be frank, I'm too tired to mess aground with it this late at night. I promise it'll be up by the end of the weekend.

  7. Small businesses need to be in tune with the proper, updated technology. If they are using old, outdated technology or broken systems, then you are doing more harm than good and your business will suffer as a result. cheap new software

  8. So you have an affiliate business but it's not really delivering. You persist anyway out of stubbornness to all those people who told you to give up! In the back of your mind you catch yourself thinking "Am I wasting my time with this?". whatsapp female users number

  10. Often at funeral and memorial services, one ends up receiving gifts, which neither they can use nor they can re-gift. In order to avoid this and let the grieving family know that you care, you must reconsider what memorial gifts to bring to the family. No doubt, the gift should exude thoughtfulness; it should have some significance for them at the same time. A perfect memorial gift is something, which reminds the recipient of the loved one he or she has recently lost. Hence, whichever gift you choose, consider personalizing them in some way or the other. In addition, one must not forget about the kids while shopping for memorial gifts because demise in the family affects them equally. Bodysuit
